Partner with the best As a Lead Materials Planner, you will be involved in planning of the materials and the execution. You will work closely with Order Management, Region Customers, and Supply Chain to translate the demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) across multiple time zones into physical orders and ensure they are delivered to meet customer requirements. As a Lead Materials Planner, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating with the Order Management Team to convert the demand plans into physical orders, including delivery dates as needed (push outs, pull ins). Understanding the demand and the capacity. Planning and executing on order timelines to meet customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs, mitigating the risks encountered along the delivery timeline. Committing to continuous improvement projects in Materials Planning. Work Experience To be successful in this role you will: Have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or mechanical engineering. Have 5+ years of material planning experience in manufacturing/supply chain. Have experience in planning, manufacturing, inventory optimization, and capacity management, preferably in a high mix low volume business model. Have problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and tactical execution. Have knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality.
