The Opportunity Manage and control the inventory activities of GL Retail & Consumer, Automotive & Industrial division. Ensuring stock levels across all accounts are accurate and seeking to improve management of stock for greater efficiency of warehouse and minimisation of losses to the business through best-in-class processes and execution.
Working closely with each operations lead to achieve 100% stock maintenance and traceability. Responsible to drive 100% inventory accuracy physical vs WMS vs Customer's ERP. Review current inventory management SOP and implement improvements as necessary. Responsible to ensure day to day activities such as inbound and outbound activities, daily cycle count, touch bin, damage counting, empty bin, manual cycle count, management of damage/ expiry/quarantined stocks etc are in-line with SOP to ensure inventory integrity. Responsible to drive good documentation practices and record-keeping. Working closely with each operations lead to communicate with key customer contacts to ensure continuous reporting of inventory issues, reporting and adjustments. Implementing and driving process to identify inventory discrepancies, conduct investigations and preparing reports. Where applicable, identifying root causes of discrepancies and amending procedures, systems and processes where required to prevent and eliminate future discrepancies. Driving efficiency gains in the business through the identification of inventory issues, recommending and implementing changes. Managing annual, cyclical and ad-hoc stock taking and cycle-counting processes including the provision of timely reports. Standardisation of processes and systems across the sites to ensure day to day inventory control operations are managed consistently, efficiently and effectively. To Be Successful, you'll need 5 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in a Third-Party Logistics environment, including proven experience in using computerised Warehouse Management Systems. (WMS) 5 years of experience in management and operation of inventory systems, procedures and operational practices. Ability to work effectively across multiple operations with various operations lead and drive optimal outcomes for the whole division. Experience with liaising with customers regarding inventory processes. Proven experience in data analysis and report development Intermediate MS Office skills and other office-based technologies. You must be entitled to work in Singapore and be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
