Maintain geotechnical monitoring devices and interpret monitoring data for slope assessment and preparation of compliance documentation. Identify geotechnical hazards and recommend remedial measures or safety controls in accordance with industry best practices with support from the Geotechnical Engineer. Assist with the development of geotechnical requirements for mine plans considering both short and long-term needs. Ensure compliance with MRM safety practices, procedures, and risk management processes. Identify continuous improvement opportunities. Contribute to geotechnical projects. Perform all other tasks/duties as directed by the Senior/Lead Geotechnical Engineer. Requirements for Successful Applicant: Advanced Diploma of Metalliferous Mining or higher qualification from a recognised institution. Demonstrated knowledge in open pit metalliferous mines is highly desirable. Experience with Vulcan and Roscience mine design systems is highly desirable. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite. Ability to work autonomously with a solutions-focused mindset. Ability to complete tasks within set deadlines. Effective writing and communication skills. High level of attention to detail.
