About the RoleReporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your focus will be on executing audits, managing enterprise risks and assessing vendor procurement processes to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks & internal policies and to meet global and local compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities Audit ExecutionResponsible for end-to-end internal / external audits with external auditors and global audit teams to drive smooth statutory and internal audits.Preparation of statutory returns and reports in accordance with accounting standards.Preparation of financial reports in compliance with AASB / IFRS / US GAAP and global policies.Conduct ISO regulatory required reporting, payment time reports and various tax compliance.Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) & ESG ManagementESG compliance, reporting and submission.Enterprise Risk Management assessment, reporting and submission.SOX ComplianceResponsible for updating the internal control framework.Responsible for lease compliance and facility related matters.System integrity & compliance i.e.
interface reconciliation and assist in IT projects for finance systems.Vendor Procurement AssessmentAssess vendor contracts and procurement processes to ensure alignment with company policies and financial viability.Conduct due diligence on vendor relationships to identify and mitigate potential financial and reputational risks.Partner with procurement and operations teams to enhance vendor evaluation frameworks and optimize costs.Financial Reporting and ComplianceInvolvement in budgeting and forecasting processes.Monitor changes in Australian financial regulations and implement processes to ensure full compliance.Preparation and submission of ABS Survey.Ad hoc analysis.Your BackgroundYou will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualifications in Accounting (CPA / CA) or studying towards your CPA / CA.3-5 years of experience in financial auditing, compliance, or risk management within a multinational environment (preferably from a 2nd tier Accounting Firm or Big 4).Intermediate Microsoft office with advanced Excel.Strong analytical, organisational, written & verbal communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and be customer / stakeholder focused.Ideally available at short notice living in Melbourne or Sydney.
