While there's plenty of sales and production estimating to be done, we need someone who can also bring their expertise to a variety of projects—from small commercial buildings and bespoke luxury homes to townhouses and more.

Generous retail discounts including JB Hi FI and Solar products Novated leasing Wellbeing – Assure Gateway Corporate uniform annual allowance if you don't want to wear your own garb Endless learning and development opportunities HQ – modern, state of the art workplace encourages collaboration and social connection The Role Prepare, liaise, evaluate and deliver detailed quotes for projects A strong understanding of the estimating process from start to completion Prepare accurate cost plans / take offs Maintain trade pricing and rates Subcontractor / Supplier briefing, negotiation and allocation Monitor variations and track tender stages Maintain strong trade and supplier relationships Prepare Project reporting to track current and completed financial performance Liaise with Site managers and Supervisors Liaise with key stakeholders within all departments of the business Provide detailed cost breakdowns for procurement of successful tenders Vet and let subcontracts Work closely with our Estimating Manager to deliver project deliverables Excellent skills with an eye for detail and accuracy Respond to the requirements of variation costings to support Contract management teams Develop working relationships with subcontractors across the state The Person Either a carpentry background or a Diploma in Building and Construction (estimating) or higher – highly regarded Residential and Commercial Construction experience with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role with a mid-sized construction company Ability to prioritise workload, and to work under pressure to meet urgent deadlines Strong organisational skills Someone who enjoys and thrives in a collaborative environment Proficiency in Databuild Excellent written and verbal communication skills To Apply Submit your cover letter and resume addressed to Nicola, providing insights into who you are and what drives your success.
