Job description:
An exciting leadership opportunity exists for an experienced Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join a leading regional health service in Bendigo, Victoria.
As the Clinical Unit Head (CUH), you will provide clinical management and leadership to the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department including clinical governance, service planning, people management, regional leadership, education, and research. This role is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Clinical Director Women and Children (Operationally) and the Chief Medical Officer (Professionally) and will direct clinical service delivery and continue the development of and lead a highly productive, cohesive multidisciplinary team.
This role will work closely with the Clinical Director of Women & Children, Director of Nursing & Midwifery, Business Director, Medical Workforce Unit, and other Clinical Unit Heads. This hospital is accredited with RANZCOG so attracts great junior support. Your New Division The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer, dental, and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical, and specialty services including but not limited to Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women's and Children's, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics, and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person-centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home, and residential care settings.
