ARC Research Hub for Australian Steel Innovation / School of Business
Fixed term, full-time appointment (2 years) Level A: $93,065 - $109,033 + 17% superannuation The ARC Research Hub for Australian Steel Innovation (Steel Research Hub, SRH) is a 5 year, $28m research program designed to support the transition of Australia's steel manufacturing industry to a more sustainable, competitive and resilient position based on the creation of new, higher value-added products and more advanced manufacturing processes.
Led by the University of Wollongong, the Steel Research Hub brings together 9 universities and 8 industry partners to deliver innovative research designed to enable a necessary technological shift in the steel supply chain.
Working within Program 4 (Steel Supply Chain Transformation) of the Steel Research Hub, the Associate Research Fellow will be involved in Project 4.2.1 – Mapping Technical Knowledge Flow within the Innovation Functions of a Steel Company, working closely with various officers from the industry partner, BlueScope Steel Ltd. (BSL).
The position will be responsible for conducting research related to the BSL's Innovation Function's steel product processes, people and technical information resulting in the development of a knowledge management (KM) framework that will support the overall KM infrastructure needs of the business.
