Russo Business Schools (RBS) was established in 2015 to provide access to higher education qualifications for international students, through the Diploma of Business. Russo Business Schools are currently seeking a full-time Academic Dean based in Brisbane CBD.
You will be responsible for the academic leadership and management of the school, its students, staff, and people connected to the campus through industry in line with the vision, mission, and goals of Russo Business School.
Specific responsibilities of the role of the Academic Dean are: Develop, implement, promote, and review strategies and activities designed to enhance and grow excellence in learning and teaching, ensuring the relevance and quality of academic programs and the student experience meet or exceed best practice standards. Provide high-level academic leadership to ensure RBS meets its performance responsibilities in relation to teaching and learning through the identification and promotion of professional development opportunities in collaboration with the Academic Heads. Foster a dynamic, service-oriented, and enterprising culture within RBS that values and respects diversity and ensures a safe and productive working environment for all staff. Manage human, physical, and financial resources within the budget envelope provided for RBS. Ensure the effective academic performance of RBS and associated academic staff, including oversight of all subject development, delivery, and course and subject reviews. Promote the academic ethos of the School within the RBS campus and ensure academic division operations comply with all internal and external accreditation, quality, financial, registration, and regulatory requirements and procedures. Develop reports for University units/Academic Board in relation to learning and teaching quality, such as academic compliance reports, course performance, workloads, and quality standards. Relevant Qualifications and Experience: PhD level qualification. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior Higher Education Leadership role.
