Keys to Success:
Own all sales account management responsibilities of the Thermo Fisher Scientific Environmental and Process monitoring (Process systems and Gas analysis), Gauging and Process Inspection products to all sites. Prospect for new business, qualify sales leads, and generate a strong opportunity funnel. Continually advance opportunities to close business. Develop territory business plan and update according to business and market changes. Provide accurate booking forecasts and reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis. Prepare and deliver exciting, compelling, and focused technical presentations. Confirm all system configurations, specifications and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders. Work collaboratively with other commercial team members to share market feedback and ensure full value is provided to customers. Support product issues in the field by collaborating closely with the service group and application engineers for solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (preferred) Consistent track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the scientific or technology industry Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on achieving results This position is ideal for an experienced professional wanting to be involved with a diverse team and exposed to a constant variety of customer application areas.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Ability to travel to customer sites and industry events, as needed
