You will help promote the physical and emotional well-being of residents by partnering with them to be involved in the meaningful activities of their life. Your responsibilities will include:Partnering with the allied health team to support residents in maintaining optimal functional abilities.Actively support residents to use and develop their abilities to engage in activities meaningful to residents.Ensure safe and sound work practices that comply with Work, Health and Safety policies.Follow residents' care plans in the provision of person-centered support during therapeutic activities.Encourage and support family participation in the everyday life of their family member.Skills and ExperienceExperience dealing with dementia clients and residents in relation to leisure and therapeutic activities preferred but not requiredCert III in Allied Health is desirable but not requiredCommitment to providing a customer-centric approachAble to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbout UsBaptistCare is a leading for-purpose Christian-based care organisation that supports thousands of people across more than 100 locations in NSW, ACT and WA.
