As an integral part of the team, you will:
Provide mobility and exercise programs to our Residents under the direction and supervision of the Physiotherapist.Provide recreational and other Therapeutic activity programs to our Residents under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist.Participate in the organisation and planning of Therapy programs.Deliver a range of Therapy-based activity programs as directed.Complete accurate documentation in line with relevant guidelines.Accompany Resident groups on outings.About Aegis The Aegis Aged Care Group has been providing quality care services to West Australians for over 40 years. Aegis Karalee is named after the Aboriginal word meaning 'waterhole surrounded by grasses' and offers a host of amenities including lounge areas where residents, their families and guests can mingle in a relaxed social atmosphere.
Requirements of the role Hold a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or higher/equivalent.A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent/higher or experience (desirable but not essential).Have experience in a similar role preferred (Occupational Therapist Assistant or Physiotherapist Assistant).Strong organisational and time management skills.Demonstrated ability to lead and coach staff to deliver quality lifestyle and therapy activities.Sound written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Have empathy with the elderly.Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.How To Apply Please click the "Apply" button if you meet the criteria and see a future with Aegis as a valuable member of our diverse team of staff, dedicated to the care of our elderly.
