About the role: We are seeking a Therapy Assistant to join our Transition Care Program Team and Home and Community Care team with a client base in the North Metropolitan region. Therapy Assistantshelp improve the quality of life of every individual accessing aged care services with Juniper. They enable and empower individuals to make the most of their abilities and live a life well lived. Under the guidance of our friendly and supportive Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, you will assist in the delivery of high quality therapy services and share responsibility for the well-being of clients.As a Juniper Therapy Assistant you will actively contribute to the development and implementation of programs which meet the physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs of our clients.
The successful candidate will primarily work at our Transition Care Program facility in Karrinyup, but may also visit clients' homes and our day therapy centre to provide therapy programs.
On offer for the successful candidate is a permanent full-time position working 75 hours per fortnight. Working hours are during normal business hours Monday to Friday. There is no shift work or weekend work required.
Previous experience working as a Therapy Assistant, particularly in the community or Transition Care Program, will be viewed favourably. To be considered for this role it is mandatory to have a current Australian driver's licence and a reliable car.
