ABOUT THE ROLE
The Therapeutic Specialist plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the functions within the Intensive Therapeutic Care programs undertaken by CASPA Services Ltd.
You will demonstrate commitment to the care and protection of children and young people through ensuring all elements of therapeutic care are consistently applied across programs, services, and practice, delivering optimal outcomes for individuals associated with CASPA in Far North Coast, NSW.
This role is being offered at full-time (38 hpw) and may include travel on an as needed basis across Far North NSW.
CASPA supports flexible work arrangements where possible, this role provides opportunity to work from home where that meets the needs of the program.
A high level of cultural competency is extremely important for these roles; prior experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander young people will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities Engage in intake, assessment, and outcome processes for children and young people in CASPA's Programs. Develop and review clinical formulations, therapeutic plans, and treatment plans, providing expert guidance on high-risk Safety and Case Plans. Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver therapy sessions when needed. Offer psychoeducation and training sessions. Manage a caseload of young people, and employ creative strategies in planning and evaluating evidence-based programs tailored to individual therapeutic needs. EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
