QuIHN is a statewide, not-for-profit, and non-government health service which provides a variety of health services to people who use substances throughout Queensland across three service areas:

An exciting opportunity to establish and implement the activities for a new program and team at QuIHN. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, you will manage services to people who use substances in central and coastal Queensland. Therapeutic Program Manager - Key responsibilities include: Manage, develop and lead day-to-day service provision within parameters of funding agreement and QuIHN policy and procedure.Ensure the services are of a high standard and in line with best practice guidelines and up-to-date evidence-based research.Manage, develop and maintain key partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.Preparation and presentation of performance reporting.Provide support and leadership to the team to enable equality, diversity, and inclusion across all levels and teams.Effectively utilise resources, manage staff performance, and provide staff supervision to ensure a quality service.What we're looking for: Someone who is passionate about their work and the health outcomes of both clients and the broader community and can demonstrate:
Relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology or other related discipline – post-graduate qualifications preferred.More than 3 years' experience in a similar leadership role.Well-developed communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.Experience fostering and sustaining partnerships as well as the ability to influence stakeholders to maintain positive working relationships with partner organisations.Project and team management skills.You are an ally of the AOD community or have lived or living experience of substance use, as well as experience working with marginalised and disadvantaged populations.Professional registration - suitable professional associations are:Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).Australian Psychological Society (APS) via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Australian Counselling Association (ACA).Queensland Counsellors Association (QCA).Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).Proficient competency in Microsoft Office Suite and CMS.Current Queensland driver's licence (or equivalent).Ability to travel to support regional staff and maintain relationships with partner organisations.Ability to achieve a successful national police check.Salary and Benefits: Full time position @ $53.84 per hour + superannuation.Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.Tax-Free Salary Packaging options up to $15,900, plus electronic device, meal entertainment, and holiday accommodation packaging.Generous leave provisions including leave loading + additional paid leave - up to 6 days per annum.Access to Employee Assistance Program for staff and immediate family.Great workplace culture, supportive managers, and a team committed to purpose.Interested in applying?
