There are vacancies on the following committees:
Psychology Immediate Action Committee Psychology Notifications and Compliance Committees Psychology Notifications Committee: Assessment The committees work in partnership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) to make registration and notification (complaint) decisions about individual psychologists, based on national policies and standards set by the Psychology Board of Australia.
Practitioners provide important expertise and input from the psychology profession. Community members are active and engaged health consumers or advocates with lived experience and strong community connections who can represent the needs, perspectives and expectations of the community.
The National Scheme has an important role in ensuring the development of a culturally safe and respectful health workforce that is responsive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples health and contributes to the elimination of racism in the provision of health services.
