Casual and permanent part time opportunities available : Enjoy flexible hours for better work life balance!Enjoy benefits such as paid parental leave, study leave and the option to purchase additional annual leave.About the Role In this role you will work as a member of the perioperative team by supporting theatre personnel to prepare the operating theatre environment for procedures, including the positioning of the patient, whilst respecting and ensuring patient safety and dignity is maintained at all times in accordance with Hospital policies and procedures and legislative regulations.
In this role you will report to the Perioperative Services Manager.
About You To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy department. You will bring experience in technical clinical support within the operating department.
You will also bring: 1 year minimum Tech experience within an operating theatre (desirable)We are willing to upskill the right candidate following successful completion of theatre technician courseCertificate III or IV in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent will also be essential.Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $35.75 +superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
