We're looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our Perioperative Services team on a full-time basis. As a member of our team you will play an important role in providing high quality service to theatres and other clinical areas. We offer a supportive environment where our teams work closely to achieve the best patient outcomes and high standards of care. As a Theatre Technician your responsibilities will include: Assist nursing staff in the delivery of safe and compassionate care.Transport to and from the ward.Assist with the safe positioning and immediate preoperative preparation of the patient.Assist with positioning and connection of equipment in the theatre as required.Maintenance of a sterile environment.Sound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practices.Adhere to Healthscope and site policies and procedures.Contribute to the efficient, effective, and economic running of the Perioperative Services team. Minimum Requirements: Authority to Work in Australia.Minimum 12 months experience as a Theatre Technician.Working with Children check.Commitment to service excellence.Strong time management and prioritisation skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.Work well independently and within a team.Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Operating Theatre Technical Support).
