Look no further than this exciting opportunity to become a Theatre Orderly at the renowned Flinders Medical Centre!About the role: In this dynamic role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of our state-of-the-art theatres.
From setting up surgical equipment to maintaining a sterile environment, your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to providing exceptional patient care.
As a Theatre Orderly, you'll be part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, working together to deliver high-quality surgical services.
Duties for the role will include: General and/or specialised cleaning of areas and equipmentFetch and Carry Handling Tasks.Setting up and operating of theatre equipmentMaintenance and checking of equipment.Interpreting complex instructions and procedures.Providing guidance and assistance within your area of expertise to other employeesUnderstanding and applying quality control techniques About you:To excel in this position, you'll need to possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
An AQF Certificate III relevant to the position is required.
Previous experience within an operating room environment would be advantageous, previous Healthcare experience would also be beneficial.Please Note: Your classification level will be determined on appointment based on experience and requirements.Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.Our Team: With a team of over 550 staff, it is rewarding work.
