We are seeking a motivated and experienced Content and Campaigns Executive to lead the execution of events and marketing initiatives for the Sydney Coliseum Theatre (SCT).
$85,000+ (negotiable depending on skills and experience)Free daily lunch and parkingFree gym membership with pool accessDiscounts across the precinct including dining, accommodation and more!About the role: This role combines marketing expertise, data-driven audience insights, and strategic planning to ensure the successful delivery of theatre events and marketing campaigns.
You will focus on optimising the commercial success of SCT and Hirer events through targeted CRM channels, while maintaining excellence in service, communication, and execution.
Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Senior Manager Theatre Sales & Audience Development on SCT communication strategies to My Coliseum Members, West HQ Members and the Ticketek Customer Database.Work with the Ticketing Manager on generating correct and accurate customer database listings for wide or targeted communication executions.Creating and executing communications to targeted customer databases.Development of asset bank (artwork, imagery, video) library and maintain for each show/performance.Write briefs for minor branded assets and internal business documents.Liaise with Media agencies as well as external and centralised PR to obtain weekly campaign reports including airchecks, screenshots and press clippings; file accordingly.Utilise audience insights and CRM tools to drive event success and maximise commercial outcomes.Provide exceptional service and communication support for marketing campaigns and event initiatives.Monitor audience engagement on email and social media platforms, respond to queries and provide end-of-campaign reports on key statistics and insights.Our perfect fit: Ability to juggle multiple competing work priorities while maintaining a flexible approach in delivering work outcomes.Availability to work show and extended hours which can include evenings and weekends.Ability to analyse issues and identify solutions.Creative thinker with an ability to work confidently and effectively in a role that experiences competing demands and priorities.Proactive and results-driven approach with ability to apply initiative and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills with an approachable and professional manner and the ability to interact equally well with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.What do you need to be considered? Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or relevant discipline and minimum five years ticketing, event and marketing experience – theatre experience ideal.Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, suppliers and commercial partners.Excellent writing, database, spreadsheet management skills.Experience in the events and/or venue industry with demonstrated knowledge of the Australian entertainment industry landscape.Experience in campaign execution, implementation and budget management.Mid-level event management skills (small to medium events and PR opportunities).Mid-level experience in supporting ticketing functions.Demonstrated experience in entertainment and event marketing campaigns, media planning and media-buying.This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a passionate and dynamic team in a state-of-the-art theatre.
