Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking Theatre Assistants to join our Theatre team. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this fast-paced and varied environment.
As a Theatre Assistant your responsibilities will include: Delivering excellent service and care to patientsMaintain and clean theatre equipmentAssist in patient transportation to and from the Theatre complexLiaise within a multi-disciplinary teamEnsuring patient and staff safetySound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practicesProcess organisational skills and complete documentation to a high standardAuthority to Work in AustraliaPrior experience in a hospital environment (desirable)Prior experience as a Theatre Assistant or Wardsman (desirable)Flexibility to work a range of shiftsWorking with Children checkCommitment to Quality Patient CareSound clinical decision making and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWorks well independently and within a teamTo Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form. More Information: Our commitment to quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors is our highest priority. Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and Evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment. Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
