Mackay Hospital and Health Service – Mackay QLDThe Theatre Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Theatre Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.Your opportunityTo provide efficient and effective operational support services within the Operating Theatre Unit by following established standards and procedures and supporting a highly compatible and supportive working team environment.About the TeamThe Mackay Base Hospital Perioperative Department is a 7 day a week, 24 hours, on-call unit which specialises in General, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Urology, Dental and Trauma surgery. Additionally, the Anaesthetic unit actively works as a main component of the Acute Pain Service and as such, is a national leader in this field.About our Hospital and Health ServiceMackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
