We are looking for a highly experienced chef to join our team. The expected start date of this position will be as soon as possible.
Responsibilities The day-to-day running of our fast-paced café kitchen Stock control and ordering Creating new dishes for our menu Estimate the cost for the labour and ingredients to ensure that the menu is profitable Food safety officer (Temp checks, cleanliness & hygiene standards) Working closely with the directors to continue growing the business Train and supervise kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance The Must-Have Requirements: At least 3 years of work experience in a similar role Has qualification in Hospitality Management and Commercial Cookery (Preferably Certificate III and Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management) Has excellent communication and leadership skills Has the passion to make the kitchen their own Has the ability to work on their own as well as work in a team The successful candidate will receive a gross annual salary between AUD70,000 to AUD85,000 depending on the skills and experience.
