SHE Advisor - WA Weir Minerals
Perth Onsite
The SHE Advisor plays a pivotal role in supporting our business to comply with WHS and environmental requirements, as well as our Weir SHE standards. You are a key stakeholder in our commitment to building a proactive and productive workplace culture where the safety and wellbeing of our people is our number one priority!
This is an onsite role based out of our Perth Airport location, where you will have access to a large number of our service centre, warehouse and office-based team members. Local travel within WA may be required on an ad-hoc basis to support our regional sites.

Key Responsibilities: Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Providing SHE operational and compliance support across WA facilities, including field operations.
Delivery of inductions and other internal training, and preparing communications as required for toolbox topics and safety shares.
Conducting workplace inspections and supporting external audits and internal SHE self-assessments.
Hazard and incident management via Shield.
Support SHE incident investigations and environmental compliance.
Support management system improvements and maintaining certification to ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001.
Risk management – JSEA review and development, risk registers, plant risk assessments etc.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Minimum 1-3 years' experience working in safety, health and environment roles.
Minimum Cert IV in WHS.
Demonstrated experience with risk management and conducting risk assessments.
Demonstrated experience delivering engaging SHE inductions & training.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships.
