UWA is seeking a visionary leader with expertise in simulation learning and clinical practice within entry-to-practice nursing curricula.
This is a full-time appointment on a tenurable basis with a base salary range of Level B, $113,934 – $134,824 p.a.
plus 17% superannuation.
About the opportunity Maintain high-level communication with key stakeholders, including external accrediting bodies and industry partners, to align on strategic goals and effectively manage simulation and clinical practice projects.Utilise contemporary learning design principles to drive the innovation of the simulation learning framework and clinical practice model, ensuring alignment with professional standards set by accrediting bodies such as the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).Provide expertise and leadership in ethical, high quality, and innovative research through activities such as scholarship, quality publication, external grant acquisition, and mentoring.About you A relevant higher qualification or a combination of management experience and postgraduate qualifications, or progress towards such qualifications, with substantial experience.Hold and maintain a current membership with a relevant professional association.Demonstrated leadership in planning, delivery, and evaluation of simulation learning and clinical practice, with a focus on continuous improvement and educational change.Extensive experience in curriculum development and delivery, and course accreditation within Australian higher education.Demonstrable experience of leading public engagement activities with government and industry that promote research leadership and work integrated learning and / or education outcomes.Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate, Working with Children Check, and "C" class driver's licence will be required by the successful applicant.
