The Reliability Technician will focus on improving plant equipment reliability through preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
This role will provide technical support to the reliability team to implement systems to reduce equipment downtime.
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
Assist in writing technical standard jobs (SOP) Identify areas of top losses and stoppages impacting asset performance (downtime reports) Complete RCA with engineering team on repeated and Major breakdowns Manage corrective actions from RCAs to ensure implementation Improve Planned Maintenance practices and standards Regular reviews of planned Maintenance effectiveness and frequencies Transition to predictive maintenance through condition monitoring Vibration analysis Oil analysis Thermography MTBF and MTTF analysis Assist Engineering team during asset criticality analysis Assist Reliability manager during FMEAs Assist with identifying critical spare parts of all critical equipment Regularly meet with production and Maintenance team leaders on equipment performance Work closely with Preventative Planner to ensure correctness and effectiveness of Planned maintenance policies Support Planning team with technical equipment knowledge Provide training to trades personnel on SOPs Liaise with OEMs for recommended service schedules, training and spare parts What we're looking for

As a key member you will have:
Relevant tertiary or trade qualification RCM experience in fixed plant and equipment Formal training and experience in oil/vibration analysis advantageous Experience working with electrical motors, gearboxes, pumps, shaft alignment and v-belt tensioning.
