The Security Officer role reports directly to the Security Supervisor and is responsible for providing a welcoming, friendly and safe environment for all employees, visitors and patrons of The Star Sydney.

A few of your responsibilities:
Working closely with the Surveillance team to proactively identify and report illegal & undesirable behaviour Comprehensive entry point vetting as well as hotel, retail, bars, and event security duties Monitoring and assisting with Responsible Services of Alcohol Providing outstanding guest service as part of our dedication to responsible gaming What are we looking for:
NSW SLED 1A Security Licence NSW RSA and RCG Competency Cards and First Aid accreditation (or be willing to obtain) Customer service experience in fast paced/licensed venues is advantageous Flexibility to work 8 - 12 hour shifts across a rotating roster essential Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude About you:
With your exceptional attention to detail and security background, you will take pride in ensuring a safe and unforgettable experience for our guests.
Your ability to work collaboratively with a large and diverse team will set our Security Team up for success.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Security Team at The Star.
