The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options.A few of your responsibilitiesThorough knowledge of the entire menu, including an understanding of all base products and ingredients used.Food is prepared for food presentation, in line with menu requirements and kitchen standards (SOP's).Mentor and develop the Demi's, Commis', Cooks and Apprentices in the team.Be able to perform complex cooking duties and produce a dish/recipe, from a combination of ingredients without supervision and assist mis en place across all sections.What we will be looking forYou will have a can-do team attitude and an eagerness to work.
If applying for more senior positions certification and qualifications will be necessary as well as high volume culinary experience.Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our events and hospitality operations at the Star Brisbane.
