Job Description
An amazing opportunity exists for a highly motivated, experienced, personable and organised forward thinker who enjoys working in a growing Paediatric Allied Health Practice.
We strive to provide the best services to our patients. As you are the first point of call for our patients, we require a Medical Receptionist who will assist patients, practitioners and other staff and enable the smooth and efficient operation of the practice. Enjoying being around children is essential!
Your duties will include:
Greeting patients in a friendly & professional manner Answering phone calls within 4 rings Responding to emails Documenting all patient communication Assisting providers with organising their diaries Entering confidential data with a high level of precision and accuracy Following intake procedures for onboarding new patients Ensuring that administration procedures regarding NDIS are being followed Preparing and settling accounts Working closely with practitioners and the team Providing administrative support and performing ad hoc duties Assisting practitioners with admin duties such as laminating and organising resources About You
Being organised is your superpower! You are friendly, approachable and outgoing while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. You can multitask & prioritise work. You have a great working knowledge of NDIS, Medicare Claiming, and Private Health Insurance You have experience working with Practice Management Systems (e.g., Nookal or Cliniko) You have excellent computer literacy skills & the ability to learn new systems quickly. You are not afraid of the cloud and can embrace our effort to be a paperless office. You have excellent IT skills You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. You are eager to take on new and exciting challenges. You love being in a child-friendly environment. You can work in a team and independently. You hold an NDIS Worker Screener / will be required to have a Worker Screener prior to your first day. You hold a Working With Children Check. You hold a current Police Check. Contact Us
