Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Corporate Services to provide leadership and strategic direction across key corporate functions. Reporting to the Chief Corporate & Community Officer (CCCO), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing service delivery, driving transformational change, and fostering a high-performance culture.
About the Role
As the Head of Corporate Services, you will:

Oversee the delivery of core corporate functions, including People & Culture (Organisational Development and Learning & Development), Information and Technology Services, and Business Improvement (Business Analysts). Provide strategic direction, innovation, and leadership to support organisational goals and align with legislative requirements. Lead the development and enhancement of policies, procedures, templates, and technologies to raise service delivery standards and manage risk. Champion organisational values and drive a high-performance culture that prioritises quality customer service and economic development. Build and nurture a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. About You
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Leadership, or a related field. High-level leadership and change management capabilities. Proven experience in the management and implementation of People & Culture/HR practices. Strong expertise in managing Information and Technology Services. A track record as a strategic thinker with significant experience in policy development and providing high-level advice. Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver complex programs and projects. Excellent governance, influencing, negotiation, and networking skills. Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and industrial relations experience. A sound understanding of risk, audit, and compliance requirements in a local government context. Superior oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and build strategic relationships internally and externally. Why Join Our Client?
