The Salvation Army Australia's Family Violence Stream provides a wide range of services around the country to support women and women with children impacted by family and domestic violence. We offer refuge, children's and parenting services, counselling, support, men's programs, accommodation and advice to women and children who are experiencing, or who have experienced, family violence.

About The Role
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Family Violence Team Leader - AfterHours at our Palmerston location. Reporting to the permanent, part-time position offering 22.8 hours per week.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award, level 7. You will successfully Work to and be accountable to the Regional Manager on all operational management issues Provide day to day operational management to teams and programs in area of responsibility Support the promotion of 'healthy teams' by ensuring that staff receive debriefing and clinical supervision as required and are supported to access EAP and HR policies and procedures are understood and observed including performance management Deliver on induction and training requirements for new workers Coordinate referrals from the Police, hospitals, victim survivors, other Specialist Family Violence Services and universal services in the Northern Territory Ensure referrals for the service are responded to in a timely and efficient manner by the afterhours team with details on outcome provided to the referring organisation You Will Have (Requisite Skills & Qualifications) A tertiary qualification in Social Work / Social Sciences or related fields is essential Experience working in the family violence sector is required Experience in managing and overseeing case management and outreach support services is desirable Experience in identifying, developing and working in partnership with others What We Offer
