About Your New Company and Role Our client, a global-scale Australian gold producer with projects located in the Goldfields Western Australia, is looking for an Occupational Health Nurse with at least 3 years of FIFO mine site experience for a temp-to-perm 8/6 FIFO Opportunity with an IMMEDIATE START .
The primary role is to ensure the health of employees and contractors through; the delivery of professional health and medical services, health promotion, proactive injury management, monitoring of occupational health functions and the delivery of expert advice and assistance on health and medical matters.
The Occupational Health Nurse is on call 24 hours to respond promptly to medical emergencies.
Job Duties: Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of safety and emergency response equipment according to established checklists Serve as the First Responder for injury and incident management, including being available for after-hours on-call support Keep site First Aid rooms and ambulances in a state of readiness Develop, implement, and uphold safe work procedures while fostering a culture of safety awareness among staff Create and maintain procedures to ensure operations are environmentally sustainable Communicate any changes in systems, processes, and procedures clearly to all team members Perform regular inspections of work areas and equipment to ensure safe operational practices Participate in and facilitate incident investigations and risk assessments Requirements PLEASE NOTE.
