We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Planner that will see you play a pivotal role in ensuring the availability of products across our stores, while optimizing inventory levels and minimising costs.
This is a fixed term 12 month contract covering a parental leave position. What you'll be doing:
Demand Forecasting: Utilise historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to predict future demand accurately. Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize excess inventory, and reduce stockouts. Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to secure timely deliveries, negotiate favourable terms, and resolve any supply chain issues efficiently. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams including Merchandise team, Supply Chain and Planners to align business objectives. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the supply chain, implementing best practices to enhance productivity and profitability. What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or related roles. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., SAP, Excel). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. What's in it for you:
