Do you have a passion for ensuring products meet the highest standards? Well, buckle up, because The Reject Shop is on the lookout for a Quality and Product Compliance Lead to join our dynamic team!
This is a part time role at 3 days per week. About the Role: Supporting the development and maintenance of TRS' QA processes and systems, including for updates in legislation and standards Supervising and supporting the Quality & Product Compliance Co-ordinators Reviewing products to ensure compliance with the Australian Consumer Law and Australian product safety requirements Working with and advising suppliers to ensure compliance with the Australian Consumer Law and Australian product safety requirements Maintaining technical compliance folders Providing training to the Merchandise team on legal, regulatory and product safety requirements About you: Sound decision making, based on situation analysis and risk assessment Good verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate at all levels Self-starter, able to work autonomously Demonstrates ownership and accountability High level of attention to detail Highly motivated At least five years' regulatory / product compliance experience in retail Strong knowledge of Australian product safety requirements Passionate about quality and compliance Strong knowledge on general merchandise required, knowledge of consumables would be an added benefit What we offer: A supportive and diverse culture.
