Ready to make a real impact? PICA Group is on the hunt for a talented Strata Manager to join our BCS Sydney office in the CBD. Manage an exciting mix of residential and mixed-use buildings on a 12-month parental leave contract starting January 2025.
Your duties will include the following:
Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with owners and committees, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor for all strata-related matters. Leading and facilitating Annual General Meetings and other committee meetings, where your guidance will help shape the community's future. Preparing accurate budgets, agendas, and minutes, with the full support of our specialised departments to back you up. Applying your understanding of strata legislation to provide sound advice and assist in the effective enforcement of by-laws. Overseeing the maintenance of insurance policies and coordinating necessary repairs, maintenance, and compliance tasks to ensure the safety and integrity of each building. About you:
You have at least 1 years' experience as a Strata Manager (or Trainee) and some knowledge of commercial portfolios. You know the legislation and can communicate this to people who might not understand as much as you. You are great at building relationships, look for win/win solutions and love turning detractors into promoters. You get things done, taking action and delivering on commitments. You love achieving your goals and celebrating yours (and other's) success. You can understand the basics – Microsoft Office and have a strong knowledge of financial reports and budgets.
