We are seeking a passionate and driven restaurant supervisor to join us on a full-time basis. Be supported by our senior management team as you grow, while further developing your skills in training new staff and handling customers' expectations.
The Meat & Wine Co Parramatta forms part of a vibrant and international team. Established in 2000, The Meat & Wine Co prides itself in providing an exceptional and unique steakhouse dining experience. The Meat & Wine Co has a unique atmosphere and ambience which is dedicated to our African heritage whilst still having reference to Australian surroundings.
Day to day responsibilities: Lead, manage and monitor your team on a day-to-day basis. Ensure daily procedures for opening & closing the restaurant are adhered to. Continually maintain high production, productivity, and customer-service standards. Follow & ensure company policies & procedures are implemented. What we are looking for: At least 2+ years' supervisory experience in a similar role within the hospitality/restaurant industry. Experience in maintaining budgets and an understanding of financials, profit & loss, and working in line with company objectives and KPIs. The ability to work a rotating 7-day roster. Great leadership qualities along with the ability to inspire, train, and develop the team. Exceptional communication skills with employees, customers, and clients. Ability to drive service excellence with a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of operations within a restaurant environment. Qualification in hospitality would be an advantage for this role. You will report to the Restaurant Manager and be responsible for maintaining a high service standard while observing our company culture and values. You will also receive on-the-job training within each department and further training in management to ensure complete knowledge of the restaurant operations.
