We are seeking a General Manager who thrives on collaboration, values diverse perspectives, and wants to contribute to meaningful change in agriculture and rural communities.
About the RoleReporting directly to the Board, the General Manager will guide strategy, operations, funding opportunities and commercial relationships.
This role is perfect for a collaborative leader who values building strong teams, engaging stakeholders, and balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on leadership.
Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture that reflects the values of the farming community.
Oversee operational and financial performance, including project budgets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including farmers, industry partners, and government bodies.
Continue to seek funding opportunities that capitalise on our organisation's strengths and capabilities.
Identify and manage risks to ensure sustainable growth and organisational resilience.
Who We're Looking For Has experience in leadership and governance roles, with an understanding of not-for-profit organisations.
Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships across diverse groups.
Has a track record of delivering results through effective leadership and project management.
Demonstrates strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Shows a genuine passion for making a difference in agriculture and supporting our farming communities.
