NIGHT SHIFT Nurse – Residential Detox Program, Luxury Rehab Facility - Maleny
Casual pool position 8pm – 12am or 12am - 8am Excellent pay rates available ACM Healthcare is on the lookout for multiple Registered Nurses to join a casual pool of dedicated staff working within a residential Alcohol DETOX program. The role includes providing medical oversight to the residential program during the night shift, working on a ratio of 1:1 with guests onsite implementing a high delivery of clinical care.
The shifts available are either 8pm – 12am or 12am - 8am.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes in alignment with organisational policies. Identify and report risks prior to escalation, crisis management, and client support. Safely oversee the detoxification process, monitoring for withdrawal symptoms. Administer medications to manage withdrawal symptoms and prevent complications. Offer emotional support and educate guests and their families about the detox process. Coordinate with the day shift team as part of the shared care approach. MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a detox, rehab, or behavioural health setting.
