What these roles look like: Town Planner Town Planners will be provided with a broad range of Development Applications including assessments for dwellings, ancillary structures and land uses within established areas and growth areas of the Shire. Preparing assessment reports for determination under delegated authority or by Council's Development Assessment Unit or the Local Planning Panel in accordance with legislative requirements. Attending to customer enquiries as required. Senior Town Planner Senior Planners will have the opportunity to assess broader scale development, assist with the operation of pre-lodgement meetings and assist team Co-ordinators with team development and mentoring. Preparing assessment reports for determination under delegated authority or by Council's Development Assessment Unit, the Local Planning or Regional Planning Panel in accordance with legislative requirements. Attending to customer enquiries as required. What are we seeking in our new team member: Positive and engaged team member. Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Town Planning or related field. Holds a NSW Driver License Class-C. Demonstrated conflict resolution and customer service skills. Benefits of working with us: Town Planner

Senior Town Planner
Competitive rates of pay at $108K per annum (excluding superannuation) and option for a Car Allowance OR Council Leaseback Vehicle, paid weekly, paid training to keep your skills up to date, opportunity for bonus payments, discounted membership to Waves Fitness & Aquatics Centre, free on-site undercover parking, and an active Social Club.
