Job Title: Animal Attendant/Dog HandlerThe Happy Pup is a leading provider of outdoor day care, grooming, and animal training services in Gymea, NSW. Our staff are chosen for their professional attributes and love of animals.
Key Responsibilities:Provide enjoyable and varied work involving outdoor activities, animal training, animal care, grooming/maintenance, and transport duties.Routine animal care tasks such as feeding, exercising, monitoring health, photography, and safe transport when needed.Address dog behavior issues like distress, barking, or safety concerns.Deliver exceptional customer service, including phone enquiries and bookings.Offer animal training services to pet owners and provide basic grooming when required.Requirements:Excellent communication skills.Able to work in a team and independently.Confident dog handling skills with the ability to read body language and communicate animal behavior.Dog Training experience, with the ability to teach basic commands and address behavioral issues.Vet nursing experience is desired.AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3), or 3-5 years of relevant experience.Benefits:$70K - $80k per annum salary.Four weeks paid annual leave.Superannuation and sick leave.38 hours per week work arrangement.
