Operations Manager - The Good Grocer IGA Supermarkets As we continue to grow and expand, we are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for an Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of multiple Good Grocer IGA stores in Perth, WA .
Reporting to the Director of Operations and working alongside our current Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving and optimising the operational performance across a number of our stores, ensuring they run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. You'll collaborate with store management teams to develop and implement strategies that elevate customer satisfaction, streamline processes, and improve overall store performance and profitability.

Ideally, you will have a demonstrated background in a senior retail management position, preferably within the independent supermarket sector, as well as exceptional people management skills with the ability to motivate, develop and manage a diverse team.

Collaborate with Store Managers to identify challenges and optimise operations. Work with the finance team to develop and manage store budgets. Analyse financial data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance profitability while controlling expenses. Customer Experience: Drive customer service initiatives to improve the shopping experience. Address customer feedback and concerns quickly and work with the marketing team to strengthen customer engagement, loyalty and community involvement. Team Leadership and Development: Lead Store Managers and operational teams, providing training and development to enhance their skills. Create robust development plans to build a strong talent pipeline and foster a positive, collaborative working environment. Inventory Management: Develop and enforce inventory control procedures to minimise losses and maintain accurate stock levels. Collaborate with suppliers and the Group Buyer to optimise inventory turnover and prevent stock shortages. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols, maintaining a secure environment for customers, contractors, and Team Members.
