About the role: Join our small payroll team in this entry-level Payroll Administrator position. Provide a highly effective payroll function across the Florey for fortnightly and monthly payroll and maintain a close relationship with the People and Culture team to ensure a smooth employee experience.
The candidate will be responsible for:
Action and authenticate employee variations via Greentree and FormVerse Process end-to-end casual fortnightly payrun Prepare and process termination payments, including Long Service Leave calculation Assist with processing the monthly payrun Prepare and coordinate the monthly PAYG payment Responsible for payroll setup of new employees Conduct payroll induction for new hires Update monthly and fortnightly salary packaging deductions Follow up on leave and timesheet submissions that require action This position is a permanent, part-time role (3 days a week; Working from home 2 days per week and 1 day in the office). The role attracts an annual salary offer ranging from Professional Staff Level 5 (PS 5-1) $72,249 to Professional Staff Level 5 (PS 5-2) $73,692 commensurate with experience.

Entry-level payroll experience, basic payroll software skills Greentree payroll experience highly desirable Developing knowledge of payroll related legislation, rules, policies, regulations, agreements (including EBA), awards and other compliance Knowledge of tax compliance and in particular salary packaging related to the Not-for-Profit sector A strong team player with advanced customer service skills Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to engage with a wide range of staff and executive management An understanding of Human Resource principles and practices Excellent organisational skills with the ability to review and make recommendations on process improvement Experience in a customer service environment Experience with the below is desirable, but not essential:
Development of payroll reports via various software packages Experience in a research or Not-for-Profit setting Greentree payroll software experience What we offer:
