Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for:
Reviewing & standardizing company-wide quality processes in partnership with Plant Quality teams, including Document Control, Customer Complaint, Vendor compliance, Calibration, and safety-related processes. Coordination of management support, cross-functional teams, documentation, education, training, and monitoring systems to ensure facility compliance to AIB programs, laws, and regulations. Actively participating in Production & Quality Steering Committee meetings, plant quality reviews, and other plant meetings. Reviewing routine Quality performance data & initiating efforts to address systemic problems, relaying pertinent information in a timely manner. Managing Quality interface to proactively ensure requirements are understood & satisfied, including assisting in complaint resolutions, root cause analyses & corrective action determinations. Interacting directly with customers on joint process initiatives to include improvement projects, business reviews & complaint resolution. Managing Internal audits and utilizing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) inspections of plants to ensure compliance with Rohrer procedures and industry best practices. Providing coaching, training, and mentoring in effective use of quality tools such as Root Cause, Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC), ensuring related initiatives are supported in accordance with company personnel management policy & practice. Acting to align company goals by continually reviewing processes to create overall operating efficiencies in obtaining the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in related field, with 5+ years' quality management experience. Thorough knowledge & experience using quality tools such as Root Cause Counter Measure (RCCM), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), internal auditing & Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA). Experience hosting customer audits & regulatory inspections with demonstrated ability to field questions quickly & clearly from auditors & outside parties. Proficient with the use of precision measuring tools. Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills. Knowledge of calibration. Ability to read blueprints. Demonstrated advanced skill in communication, presentation, writing & organizational ability. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources, with demonstrated leadership & interpersonal skills.
