About the role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team based in our Darwin Office.
You will be responsible for: Preparing and delivering Engineering solutions to clients as per their project requirements.
Preparing and reviewing engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
Liaising with clients to ensure their requirements and expectations align with project requirements.
Co-ordinating external consultants (Architects, Surveyors, Hydraulic Engineers etc.) for the incorporation of any required engineering inputs into designs.
Effectively and efficiently undertaking engineering design in a computer aided design environment.
Conducting internal audits of the company business management system and ensuring that proper design and drafting standards are set and maintained.
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need: Tertiary qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering.
5-10 years of industry relevant experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build relationships with clients and external consultants.
High level ability to understand complex engineering challenges and develop multiple solutions with considerations and assessment of the risk and opportunity of solutions developed.
