OUR TEAM As part of our VTS business, our PRV team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale.

YOUR ROLE: Come join us as an Industrial Buyer and play a key role in how Thales provides value to its customers.
You will directly contribute to Thales' ability to meet the service levels expected by internal and external customers, with the right supplier and at the right price to ensure the timely delivery of goods or services to the business and play a facilitating role with the various parties to the incoming flow.
Working at our Brisbane, Eagle Farm office, on Jagera and Turrbul Land, your day to day responsibilities include: Assume end-to-end ownership of every order placed, including tracking timely deliveries of ordered products and services, expediting late deliveries, resolving billing errors, and updating information in information systems.
Work with the relevant area on the trade control documents including the processing of the Commodity Export Classification Certificates (CECCs) and End User Undertakings.
Handle exceptions (advance, cancelled and deferred purchase orders).
Manage shortages, delays and returns proactively as soon as they are identified (through reviews of WIP, orders or projections).
Ensure that order-related dates are kept up to date in the ERP (e.g.
during portfolio reviews), in collaboration with suppliers.
Resolve billing issues related to ordered products or services and manage disputes that prevent billing of orders under your responsibility.
YOUR EXPERIENCE: Good understanding of order management processes and ability to request quotes and use them to place orders.
Ability to develop and expand internal and supplier relationships (support, escalation, etc.).
Professional use of commercial contracts and general terms and conditions.
Advanced use of MS Office applications (Excel) and ERP purchasing tools (materials management).
Well-developed sense of priorities, accurate self-assessment and ability to anticipate, be proactive and generate added value.
