Description Duties Assists Reference Staff (4th reference desk) with daily tasks Interprets computer lab policy for patrons and enforces computer lab and study room rules Manages study room reservations Checks out study room key cards and other equipment to patrons Loads printer (6 in total) with paper Troubleshoots computer lab equipment (computers, printers, and scanners) Assists patrons with computer and software issues and questions Provides visitors with computer access Assists librarians with the closing of the computer lab Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be prompt and on time every day Students hired for this position must be able to work the following times :Thursday 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm or Friday & Sunday 1 pm - 6 pm. Must have 6-month proven experience working with computers for assisting patrons and troubleshooting Qualifications Must be enrolled at UHD for the semester, applying for six (6) college credit hours or more Qualifies for Texas Work-study via Financial Aid Required Attachments by Candidate: Resume, Financial Aid Award Letter, Class Schedule
