The opportunity Based in Australia (in office, hybrid or remote) Full-time ongoing role Engage with government and private sector stakeholders, lead strategic capture plans, and contribute to creating compelling value propositions in areas including maritime security and safety, humanitarian preparedness, and regional security cooperation. Key responsibilities Identify opportunities, priority proposals and develop and implement capture plans. Build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders across defence and security sectors. Represent Tetra Tech at industry events, client meetings, and project sites. Provide insights into defence and security agency policies, priorities, and operating contexts. Draft position papers, EOIs, proposals, and thought leadership content. Shape and present Tetra Tech's maritime safety and security capabilities to market. Contribute to the development of offerings in cybersecurity, environmental security, and infrastructure. Selection criteria Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Master's degree or post-graduate certifications preferred). NV-1 Security Clearance or ability to obtain. Proven experience in project management, procurement, and/or contract management in the Defence or security sectors. Demonstrated success in building relationships with Australian government officials and foreign government representatives. Experience in ASDEFCON procurement responses and writing high-quality reports is highly regarded. In-depth understanding of Australian Defence and security policies, procurement mechanisms, and strategic objectives. Familiarity with Indo-Pacific security issues, including maritime and environmental security. Awareness of whole-of-government responses to international security challenges.
