This role is responsible for electrical testing associated with the overhaul, modification, manufacture and commissioning of equipment for mining machinery, power distribution, transformers, protection relays and HV systems.
This is to ensure that our products meet intended testing requirements, adhere to standards, meet customer specifications, and meet operational duties.
This role is responsible for electrical testing associated with the manufacturing of equipment and commissioning of systems provided to our Mining and Utility customer.

ABOUT YOU: The Service solutions team modifies, designs and manufactures medium, high and extra high voltage products.
In this department, our testing officers perform the following duties: In this department, our WA Ampcontrol testing officers perform the following duties: Perform workshop testing and commissioning of Ampcontrol products in compliance to the customer specification, contracts, standards, codes and appropriate legislative requirements Performing workshop PLC and SCADA testing, validation and fault finding Document and report on design-quality issues Document all testing, commissioning and validation to meet the requirements of the customer specification, contracts, standards, codes and appropriate legislative requirements.
Monitor and maintain equipment calibration register as required Assist in workshop installations in line with workshop workload requirements Developing and maintaining good customer relationships You may also be involved in development of processes for continuous improvements of testing and commissioning processes.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You will have an excellent attitude to teamwork complemented with the following : Cert III Electrotechnology Stand alone power system experience PV experience Experience in power distribution Extensive experience in the testing of electrical equipment and control systems Demonstrated experience in technical problem solving Electrical fault finding and PLC troubleshooting skills Confidence with Microsoft Office applications Experience in diagnostic testing of electrical equipment utilised in utilities and mining and power transmission Good comprehension with industry standards Good comprehension of AS/NZS 3000 Think you know Ampcontrol?
