An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join a worldwide leading system integrator in tolling, ITS & tunnel management systems design, development, and deployment.
The Testing and Commissioning Engineer will work in the execution of the testing activities and provide support to the Testing Manager within the internal testing and acceptance testing phases with the client.
Key Responsibilities Define internal testing procedures consistent with the existing project plans. Detect bottlenecks and/or risk during the internal testing process and apply mitigation measurements. Procure tools and arrange workshops to facilitate the testing process. Review testing engineering documentation, such as reports, evidence, or test cases. Technical review and execution of the nominated test cases. Analyse, review, and manage the traceability of Requirements from the Contract/designs to the testing documentation. Supervision of internal testing progress. Working with technical and non-technical personnel in order to get the expected result. Identifying, troubleshooting, and describing the defects found during testing activities. Uploading defects on the Jira Defect Management System. Assisting the development/design team with a focus on the resolution of defects. Requirements The preferred candidate will meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of engineering. 5 years of relevant experience in similar testing and commissioning roles within engineering projects. PLC/SCADA system architecture knowledge is desirable. Office Tools: Word, Excel, Visio, etc. Ability to describe defects detailed enough for its resolution. Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
