We're looking for a talented Tester to join our client's dynamic team in Adelaide. This role offers the chance to lead testing efforts for our innovative software products and drive quality assurance to new heights. The Role: Strategic Test Planning: Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and cases, aligning them with organizational goals and best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing needs and establish key metrics. Effective Test Execution & Defect Management: Assist in the conduct of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Track and document defects using JIRA, analyze trends, and work with developers to resolve and verify fixes. Automation & Scripting Leadership: Assist in the design and implement automation frameworks using Appium and Selenium. Develop and maintain regression testing scripts and utilize Unix/bash/Python scripting for automation and data handling. Database & API Testing: Validate REST API endpoints, performance, and security. Test web interfaces and Oracle databases using SQL queries and scripts. Mobile & Security Testing: Assess iOS and Android applications for functionality, performance, and user experience. Implement strategies to identify and address security vulnerabilities. Collaborative Communication: Foster teamwork within the testing team and across departments. Assist in the communication of the testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and contribute to project meetings with valuable insights. Continuous Improvement: Standardize testing processes and best practices, develop training programs to enhance team skills, and continuously improve testing tools and methodologies. You: Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in software testing and knowledge of performance testing and experience with web and mobile app testing. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Appium and Selenium. Experience with RedHat Linux and Bash/Python scripting. Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and familiarity with JIRA and Bitbucket/GIT. Expertise in iOS and Android app testing, REST API testing, and security testing. Industry Background: Experience in billing or telecom is highly preferred. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
