Test ManagerReserve Bank of Australia, Sydney, AustraliaSuperb opportunity for seasoned Infrastructure Test Manager to lead testing for an extensive technology program.Drive Functional and Non-Functional Testing (Load, Performance, Fail Over/Disaster Recovery)As a Program Test Manager, with IT Enterprise Testing Services team, you will be responsible for driving Testing across an infrastructure uplift program of work. This program is a technology driven program that will require Bank-wide involvement to uplift and consolidate IT infrastructure and network components and then plan the migration of various business services. This program of work will focus to consolidate and replace core infrastructure components across our data centres.To be successful for this role, you will require extensive experience in planning and execution of all the Functional and Non-Functional Testing around program of work involving Technology, Infrastructure and Network uplift and implementation. We are looking for a seasoned Test Manager who has delivered effective and efficient Test Strategy involving infrastructure and network (DC) uplift and migration in their past roles.This is a two-year fixed term engagement.Your Background:15+ years of experience in managing and planning all aspects of Functional and Non-Functional Testing specifically in Infrastructure and Network projects (with focus on simplification, automation, security, and obsolescence) is preferred.Deep expertise in delivering Test Strategies for large scale Infrastructure Transformation/Migration programs and data centre migration. Lead and demonstrate specialty credibility and innovation in establishing the overall test approach.Knowledge of structured test management approach and methodology, ensuring adherence to internal frameworks, processes, and practices to effectively manage all Testing and QA aspects of the program.Experienced in developing and maintaining Infrastructure Test Strategy, Functional (SIT/UAT) and Non-Functional Test Plans (including Performance, Load/Stress, Failover and DR) and summary reports in consultation with the Project Managers, Service Providers, and other key stakeholders.Experience in Performance Test Frameworks at Infrastructure and Network level along with planning the Failover/Disaster Recovery Testing.Experience in identifying and managing Testing risks and issues, developing plans to mitigate these risks, and implementing these in a timely manner, measuring effectiveness.Experience working on medium to large scale procurement activities (RFQ, RFT, RFP).Demonstrate specialist experience and understanding software development life cycle and testing life cycle and be responsible for the production of corresponding deliverables as outputs (e.g., test strategy, comprehensive test cases for a significant component of a solution, test scenarios).Extensive testing experience within project methodologies such as waterfall, Prince2 and agile-type methodologies.Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and partner effectively with key stakeholders across the Reserve Bank and externally.Technical Capabilities:Demonstrated proficiency on Infrastructure Test Automation frameworks and Performance Test frameworks.Strong experience in developing and implementing Infrastructure Test Strategies, plans, approaches and testing processes for User Acceptance and E2E testing, including non-functional (e.g., infrastructure, network, security and fail over testing).Proven experience building team rapport and creating opportunities to facilitate collaboration within the team.Strong networking capability: demonstrated experience building networks of influence to support project outcomes.Ability to influence management and senior stakeholders.Why RBA?The RBA makes an important contribution to the Australian economy through the pursuit of national economic policy objectives and associated activities in financial markets and banking.
